Title : Open Door
Bible Verse - Revelation 3 vs 1-8
And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
O P E N D O O R
From them above scriptures, we are made to understand that doors
can be opened and also doors can be shut or closed.
There are experiences that manifest when doors are shut and also, there experiences that manifest when doors are opened.

WHEN DOORS ARE SHUT!
1.
When doors are shut; the following experiences will be
manifesting: Life and destiny are bound and Confined to one spot-stagnation.
Israel in kadeshbanea. Also in Acts
12:4-6, Peter was confined to the prison when the doors are shut. When
doors are shut against people: all they will be experiencing is
stagnation, when doors are shut; there will no movement and progress. Acts 16:24- Paul and
Silas were confined to a prison when the doors were shut against them.

2.
Good things (blessing, riches, favours, success) will be prevented
from entering one's life.
Joshua 6:1- when Jericho was shut up; nothing comes Out; nothing goes in.

3.
When doors are shut; famine, scarcity and lack will be manifesting.

"6:24 And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his host, and went
up, and besieged Samaria.
6:25 And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head
was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver."

When doors are shut; prophecies and divine promises are trustrated
and
unfulfilled. "No one goes into the promised Land when the door is shut against him." Until the
doors, gates and walls of Jericho were destroyed; the Israelites could not move to their promised
Land- Joshua 6:1-20, which God gave them in Exodus 3:8

5.
When doors are shut; your access to your inheritances and
possessions in Christ will be hindered.

hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

wili not open you THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN, and pour you out a blessing, that
there shall not be room enough to receive it.".
There are also doors and gates of heaven- Gen 28:16-17.
It is open doors that give you access to your treasures. When the doors are shut your access are hindered. Your inheritance in Christ- Rev. 5:12.

When doors are shut; helpers and benefactors cannot reach you to
help
you.
Helpers cannot reach out to many people who are in need because doors
are shut against them.

kings may be brought.”

7.
When doors are shut; life will be meaningless, aimless and
purposeless
"Life is aimless, when doors are shut".
Exodus 14:3 “For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the
wilderness HATH SHUT THEM IN." life is frustration; when doors are shut.

When doors are shut; movement to next level is impossible. Every
level of
life has the door own door and until the door is open you can't move to the next level.
Job 19:8 “ He HATH FENCED UP MY WAY THATI CANNOT PASS, and he
hath set darkness in my paths."

When doors are shut; oppression, affliction and suffering will be experienced

WHEN DOORS ARE OPENED:

reach out to you to help you

gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto
thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. For the nation and kingdom
that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted."

Opportunities of blessing
and favour will come.

had great opportunities when the door was still open.

Access to your
inheritances and possessions in Christ is sure

guaranteed

Provision from above
is sure.

KEYS TO OPEN DOORS
1.
Key of salvation
Jesus is the one who has the key of David; He opens no
can shut. Rev. 3:7, Matt. 16:9, John 10:7
